Hello from the shadows (possibly too long)

Hi all,
this site has been in the back of my mind for several years, but never really felt like the timing was right for me. I was diagnosed with aspergers way back around the mid-90s, so for a long time there was no wrong planet site. I never knew as a kid that there was anyone else out there who'd been called the same name by a doctor. My mother initially joked about it, then never really mentioned it much again. So neither did I... for a long time.

But there are aspects and incidents in my life that made me think of... that name again. Today I still don't know where I fit, but after a lot of years hiding out I'd like to stop by and say, "hello".
