Hello, I am Izanagi Slash. The name comes from a move that the MC of Persona 4’s starting Persona has.

Anyways, I am a young adult with Asperger’s, who also happens to be alone with no friends in his part of the world to talk to. I can get along with people normally…if they are into the same things I am into, that is.
I love playing video games and listening to music. I love any music that’s electronic, but that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy other styles of music. Pretty much anything catchy will do, but I love video game music, and am actually listening to the Persona 5 OST as I type this! (seriously, a lot of the music for the SMT series is so damn good!) My favorite game of all time is…I don’t know, honestly, but I have played Super Metroid and Castlevania Symphony of the Night to death, so it might be one of those two.

I also like anime. My favorite show is Cowboy Bebop. When it comes to movies I enjoy them as long as I don’t have my parents around. Unfortunately, they are friggin’ Fundamentalists who want to protect their 20+ year old son from anything containing bad language or sexual content, because I have never, ever been exposed to it, and will be scared s**tless in my room of those things if I am exposed to anything containing those two things. Oh, and don’t forget music with a devilish (read: syncopated) beat.

Yeah, they also don’t help when it comes to friends either. While I understand them being worried about me hanging with the wrong crowd (those who drink, do drugs, smoke, etc.), the two things I mentioned earlier in addition to the two above make forming relationships outside of my family difficult. It only has to be with whoever is in the church, especially if the friend I am interested in hanging out with is a girl.
As for my Asperger’s diagnosis, I have been diagnosed since kindergarten. Since my parents are fundamentalists, I was in the private Christian school at the time, and, come first grade, the teacher I had acted as if I will always want to get my way or something. Long story short, I was placed in the public school, and everything went A-OK from there. Kind of is a good statement of the effectiveness of your religion if the schools you send Asperger’s kids to won’t work for them. (I have a reason for saying this. PM me if you’re interested why. This post’s already tl;dr-demanding enough as it is)

I am able to function OK in a job setting, but I am always under tension, even when I’m off the job, as I know I will have to go back to work sooner or later. Doesn’t help that I have no friends.
Really, as I type this, I wish I had a girlfriend that could support me. But I guess that will come in due time.

Anyways, my online name is Izanagi Slash, and this is who I am, and I sure as hell am not apologizing for it anytime soon. And besides, I am looking forward to talking with you all!
