Welcome! What's it like living in Mexico?
Thank you.
Well it is different I must have to say. I say this because I used to live in the USA for 14 years (I am also a naturalized US citizen), and I had a reverse culture shock. For example, Mexicans, like other Latin Americans and Southern Europeans, are very flexible with time and are more spontaneous, whether I am a punctual person almost all the time. Also, I am a pretty frank and direct person, whilst most Mexicans are not like that.
But, apart from that, I really like it here. I work as an interpreter at a Japanese insecticide company, I am married to a Japanese woman, my office is 10 minutes walking from my home, there is much more to do here than in the area I used to live in the USA, and I live in one of the most upscale areas of Mexico City
How about you? How is Canada?
