I'm glad I found this site. Been recently self-diagnosed and I'm looking for aspies from Vermont or maybe even northern new england.

Hello back, from Vermont. Well, I was born in Maine & now I live in Vt.
Are you familiar with AANE (Asp. Assoc. of New England) ? This is their website:

That link is basically useless for adult aspies in Vermont, sadly. All the adult groups seem to be in places like RI.

I know, I know.
Were I aware of something better (location-wise), I'd have said so. Everything seems to take place in Mass. (since that's their headquarters) & I don't see me going out of state on a regular basis. Would like to be able to participate in group that's nearby, in my own state.
Any interest in an ASD group seems to come from parents of school-age children-and I'm neither ! It's quite irksome & frustrating, the lack of opportunities to meet similarly-situated grownups w/the dx.

Welcome. I'm in northern New Jersey. I've spent a great deal of time in Vermont, particularly when I was younger, and love the state.

A number of years too late for me :?

Lived in Randolph from 1988 to 1998 and at that time hadn't even heard of Aspergers.
