So I'm a 33yo aspie male and earlier this year (around July) I was hospitalized in Kansas due to a kidney failure and GI bleed. One of the nurses who took care of me figured I was on the spectrum and suggested these forums to me and said she also used them. At the time i was spending most of my energy on not dying, so her name escapes me. Does this person ring a bell for any of you?

Basically I'm looking to grow my group of friends. My social circle has become very small and I'm lonely much of the time. I would really like some folks to talk to on a regular basis and maybe even a romantic partner.

Looking forward to meeting you all.

Welcome!!

Might her name have been Angela?

If so, she's not here right now----but, she'll be back soon; you can write to her, here:

Just look down, on the left, and click on "PM".

Craziness, but I think that's here. Thanks for the help. Any idea when she'll be back around?

No----but, you can still write to her, anytime; it'll just stay in your "Outbox", until she gets-back / opens it.

I would suggest identifying yourself, in the SUBJECT line----like: "I was your kidney failure / GI bleed patient, in July"----otherwise, she might not open it cuz she won't be familiar with your username (some people do that).

LOL The forum's most famous nurse. I was thinking the same thing.
