I chose to call myself Fiddler because I play the fiddle. I am a 20 years old girl, and I live in France. Two years ago, as always, I was wondering what was wrong with me, and I heard about AS. I thought that maybe I had it. Now I don't think I have AS, but I am still interested in it. I think this website is great. I like playing chess, reading and watching movies. :P

Welcome Fiddler! I enjoy chess as well, although I haven't had the time to play it lately. How long have you played the fiddle? My sister has taken up the violin and I play the clarinet.

Welcome aboard. I used to play chess when I was growing up, but haven't played in many years. I used to play Sargon II chess on my Commodore computer when I was a kid and would you believe I actually figured out how to beat it. It didn't take me long either. I never tried Sargon III though, so I don't know if I could beat that one.

I used to work in a nursing home and we had a guy there who was born with a syndrome that pretty much made him unable to do anything for himself. He learned how to play chess and joined a club in which he could play chess through the mail. That was interesting to me.

Like you, I'm not sure if I have it or not, but I do have some of the symptoms. Even so, I've been made to feel welcome here all the same, and I'm sure you will be too.

Welcome aboard.

Thanks, it 's good to feel welcome!
Alex: I've been playing the violin for five years now.
I enjoy Bach and Irish folk music a lot.
