No, I'm not officially diagnosed, but I came to this site after a bad experience at a recent job where the boss told me she thought I had ADHD and another coworker was imitating me by 'hand flapping'. Whoops! I must admit I don't think I have ever done that, but I guess it's one of those things you just 'do'. Anyways, I'm a 39 year old female, always been seen as 'odd' and a tomboy - obsessive interests? Yep, got those.
I collected stuffed animals for years along with computers and electronics, then I moved on to coins both ancient and modern. I probably have one of the largest collections not in a museum.
Not exactly the usual 'female' pastime. I have a female oriented job, and they all think I'm odd but hopefully in a good way. (I'm back at an older job where my OCD and ADHD is appreciated).
I'm horrible at face recognition although I don't think I have any problems slotting into conversations when I try to do so.
Oh, and I'm a big time computer gamer . I've been using computers obsessively since about 1980. Eep! Dating myself there!
I'm generally a lurker but wanted to say hi!
