Hello, my name is Dylan and I am a new member here on Wrong Planet. I am diagonsed high-functioning autistic and highly neurodiverse (175 out of 200 on the Neuro diversity scale) and have never had much of a chance to interact with other autistic individuals, which is what motivated me to join. My interests lie mainly in entertainment (music, movies, TV, etc.), baseball statistics and craft beer. I look forward to getting to know some of you.

i've never even so much as spoken to another individual on the spectrum, before i came here. being here is just another consequence of a certain seating arrangement i had in my 3rd period biology class, my freshman year of high school. sleeping on benches in istanbul-ataturk is another. :hic:

interested in "craft beer". what do you mean by the term? you help craft beers? you craft, maybe even sell your very own beers?

i like nonfiction movies and documentaries. spirited away is the grandest exception.

welcome to the club. 8)

Within the world of beer, there are large-scale "macro" breweries that pretty much make the same style of beer and there are smaller "craft" brewers that are making diverse styles on a smaller scale that really explore the range of beer as a beverage in a way that hasn't been done in a long time. Although I have a deep interest in these craft beers, I haven't yet attempted to craft my own; although I think that could be very fun and rewarding; my interest has been on more of the academic and historical side.

I love Kona Stout beer. Kona coffee beans blended into dark stout. Mmm. Another of my favorites is Pumpkin Spice beer.
