Just to introduce myself. I'm a 45 year old Aspie from Yorkshire, England with and NT wife and younger son and a borderline Aspie 9 year old older son. Diagnosed a year ago after one of my work colleagues complained I was odd (a familiar tale, I suspect). I always knew I was ASD, but needed the official diagnosis to protect myself from allegations of being insufficiently sociable. I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has similar problems.

Welcome aboard!

I think many here would have similar problems but you may need to type your post again in one of the more suitable categories. There might not be many people browsing this one as it's mainly just a place to introduce yourself.

Welcome. :)

I myself have lost several jobs and being 'odd' is a common complaint when I'm told why they're 'letting me go'.
