hey, I'm a 16-year-old with an official diagnosis of Asperger's, and in real life I've been struggling with social interaction and making close friends (although things do seem to be looking up) so I figured I'd come to a place where I could maybe meet some like-minded people! I'm very interested in the world of media, especially music, and love to listen to a very diverse variety of musicians and bands, as well as watch and discuss films and television.

my diagnosis is not a severe form of Asperger's, it is somewhat mild as far as cases go and has lessened in severity over the years, but I still find it difficult to socialise with many people and to find topics of conversation that the majority of people would find interesting, as well as having intermittent anxiety and depression as off-shoots of the Asperger's.

thank you! some bands or musicians I listen to on a regular basis are Brand New, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Neutral Milk Hotel, Aphex Twin, Modest Mouse, The Wrens, Kendrick Lamar and Portishead. these are just a few of the ones that come to mind, I like a lot more than just them.
