I personally find it surprising how many adult females with Aspergers there are on this forum. It's likely because there was a theory that only males can have Aspergers until quite recently.

Yes, I have read that they now think there are as many females with AS as there are males and they are having to re-think their diagnostic questions and tests so we don't keep falling through the net
