Hi,

I'm LadyOfTheLake, I live in Germany an I just got diagnosed with Asperger's. Actually, I made my therapist research about the syndrome, because I just somehow knew that the diagnose fits.
My name comes from arthurian literature and is another Name for Nimue, the woman who raises Lancelot. Medieval literature is one of my special interests and also the subject I study at the university. I also like making my own cosmetics, (korean) cooking, swimming and psychology.

I found out about Asperger's while reading a comic about it. The protagonist had exactly the problems, ways of thinking and the behaviour I had when I was a child. I always felt this alien kind of way, but I described it as "not having a manual for social interaction, while all the other people have one". I hope that in this forum, I will find some people who will fit my weird personality better than most of the other people I met in my life.

i haven't heard of too many people making their own cosmetics. sounds like a useful skill.
