Hi all, having a rough morning today. Stimulation overload while trying to get my daughter (also an aspie) ready for school as my 5 year old (stayinv home due to being unwell) make repeated demands for my attention. Meanwhile my wife is texting what seems like every 5 seconds to check that all is okay. Anxiety and panic set in and I find myself loosing my cool and yelling and stomping around. It wasn't until I took a deep breath and took myself for timeout that I realised how overwhelmed I let lyself get. Anyone else have experiences with this sort of thing and, ideas on coping mechanisms?
