Hi there, I'm from UK (Norfolk).

I'm thinking of getting an assessment in the near future. I've taken the online AQ test (Baron-Cohen) and scored 30 which is a borderline score. I don't have repetitive behaviour but struggle with the social skills side of things. I find small-talk difficult to join in with or keep going and can find it difficult to think of things to say unless it is about something I like. I also find it very difficult to make friends. My social skills have improved by watching how others act but it is a struggle. If anyone would like to chat about their experiences then it would be good.

Yup! I'm from Norfolk and I currently live near Portsmouth.
I was diagnosed when I was young. While growing up I met so many aspies but now as an adult it feels like we've dropped off the earth. There's some local Autism groups but it's not the same. Andwhere-abouts are you from?

I think that the UK is a good place to be an aspie as our naitonal Autism organisations aren't so pro-cure as they are in America.

Welcome :)
