Hi, I'm new here. I'm Stockton, and I'm Asperger's.

For the longest time I avoided joining this site because visiting it was so depressing. Too much misery in one place for my taste. I'm not interested in a pity party, at least not right now.

Like many of you out there, I'm lonely and desperate for social interaction. I could go into the whole sob story about bullying and being left out, but you've probably already heard it a million times already. No need to beat a dead horse.

My "interests" (obsessions?) include political science (specifically dictatorships for reasons that are beyond me, though ideologically I make my beliefs as I go along) and to a lesser extent transportation. I also collect old travel guidebooks (80 so far).

Pity is pretty posion to me, you aren't alone there.

Good to see you're thinking positive, that's a huge step.
I gave up on trying to figure out why things grab my interest.
The good ones grab me, like I just have no choice in the matter, lol.
