Not sure how to start or exactly what to say

I haven't been on any forums in years and have a strong tendency to social anxiety, so this is a bit weird for me. I have a ten year old son on the spectrum and yesterday I was finally officially diagnosed. It was a bit of a crazy whirl and she mentioned I was indeed on the spectrum then suggested I look up support groups for adults with aspergers. So, here I am at forty, just diagnosed and validated after so many years of wondering since my sons are so much like me (the older one has symptoms, but not to a diagnosable level) and the younger one's psych had mentioned he wouldn't have been surprised if I was diagnosed as a child if the diagnostics had been the same. I've always had trouble finding people who understand me and make sense to me. Hopefully I'll have some luck here.

3 years later and i often find myself at a loss for words too. not just here, of course....but maybe it gets easier to manage with the years.

the 10 y/o is the older or younger one?
