I haven't used this forum in a very long time.

This forum is where I first began to discover the answers to all of my questions.

When I was in the 7th grade was when I finally discovered autism spectrum disorders and how I related to them. I found a lot of information and comfort on this website. I never did meet a lot of friends here though, which I would like to.

That was in 2013 I believe. Now, in 2017, all of my diagnoses are consisted of autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, schizoaffective disorder bipolar type, depersonalization/derealization disorder, and I supposedly may have borderline personality disorder.

I've gone through a lot since 2013- lots of ups and downs. I went inpatient in crisis psychiatric hospitals a total of 4 times for things like depressive episodes with suicidal thoughts, psychosis, self harm, suicidal thoughts from anxiety, and things of that nature.

But enough of that; I am a big nerd. You can call me Avery, Av, or Serena. I'm a PC gamer, an artist, a poet, and an instrument player. Feel free to message me if we have an interest in common. :^)

Welcome back, Serena. :) I'll call you that, since it reminds of of the vampire woman in Skyrim.

i remember you!! !! something....Nellethiel?

serena is a pretty name, as is that one ^ :P

this place is quite a resource for me, too, still... often things come up that don't allow me the time for it. not much has chanced here since i last saw you around, but maybe you have.

i hope your diagnoses have given you some answers on their own.

depersonalization/derealization disorder is something that I deal with a lot in myself and in others if that's something you want to talk about sometime. it'd be really nice to have an additional perspective on the possible interaction between depersonalization/derealization disorder and autism spectrum disorder, since I'm just starting to figure things out and more information is generally better. (sorry if I'm intruding!)
