Hi everyone, I'm new here, but I joined a long time ago. I don't know if I'm on the spectrum, but I do know that I have a lot of behaviors and quirks that match what I've read about some ASD tendencies. I can be very socially withdrawn, obsessive, enjoy certain repetitive patterns. There is more, especially when I was younger, but my thoughts are not organized at this moment.

I mostly find myself here because I've started to become more and more concerned about 'solving' the question of 'me.' Like, I'm looking for the puzzle piece that will explain who I am, why I am the way I am. And mostly I want to discover a better sense of purpose and self. I am also exploring the question of my gender identity, because I think that is maybe a thing about me that makes me different.

I'm also feeling rather lonely, and am looking for a community.

I enjoy Magic: The Gathering card game, video games, science fiction and fantasy. I read the Lord of the Rings five times by age 15, but I haven't read it again since I was 20. I'm 35 now. I also used to love Garfield the Cat and would read every one of his books on his birthday (June 19th). But Garfield stopped being as good a long time ago.

boy this is some random stuff. I'm going to finish this post off now. I hope to be more lucid in the future. Thanks for reading!
