I'm kidding, but I am new.
I'm 23 years old. I was misdiagnosed with OCD at 15, I got diagnosed this year with AS, and other traits of autism disorders.
All my life I knew something was wrong with me, I just didn't know what until now. It feels like a 1,000 pound weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
I've played guitar in and out of bands for the last eight years. Went on a bunch of tours, got endorsements, etc. etc. My band is done and now I'm a 23 year old guy with no actual skills. I teach guitar for a meak living and barricade myself in my room as much as possible.
I'm glad to be here with other people who feel the same as me

Yes, there a ton of bands out there. It's just really hard to depend on four other people for your future.
I've literally met hundreds of people that said they were dedicated, but when things go to another level they're nowhere to be found.
I'm currently in another band, but I'm not taking it too seriously. Half of them are drug addicts, they aren't on the same page musically, and they really don't understand the business aspect of things.
I just wish I was Mr. Friendly because I've met enough people with connections, I just hate small talk

I have had a few musican friends over the years and mostly they have said if you want to get serious, with serious other musicans, you have got to get to the bigger cities. Not an easy thing to do sometimes.
I felt they same as you, a 2 ton heavy thing lifted from my shoulders. Wonderful gulp of fresh air, as things suddenly started making sense about my past. Well most of it, I never said I was out for sainthood.
