I should think I would be Casper: some people
really finding me a good friend and interesting,
and others just running away, screaming in terror,
hehe.
Scarrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyy!! !! !! !! !! I be too!
I would say the Radio Character the Shadow
(the one played by Bret Morrison from 1946-54).
On one hand, anayltical, psychological, and yet
mystical and conceals it well. Hence forth his
shadow persona.
My all-time favorite covers for the Shadow
comics were, V'7 #10, and maybe a few
V'4 #4?(the one with the dripping bloody
head cover to scare natives). Otherwise
the stories in the comics SUCKED!! !!
The serials were OK!
The 1994 Movie was Horrible!! !! !! !! !!
I remember collecting public library records
and creating a yellow tape label collection of
finds, and record each checked out on these
1970's era record(55 overall). I currently
have 100 +/- episodes of remastered tapes
from radio spirit and one day make custom
burned CD's of them?
My favorite Shadow comics series was DC's
"The Shadow Strikes" 1989-1993. I haven't
bought a new comic since.
The other is the Green Hornet on Radio. Why?
Because he carries a code of honor and will
make sure all is righted, even at his Green Hornet
persona's expense. A giving soul, yet diligent one.
If it were a modern persona, Moon Knight #1-32.
1980-1984 by Bill Sienkewich(mispelt) because
he saw the value of all sides of the coin:
1)...Jake Lochy(cab driver persona and a way
to see others in their natural state)
2)...Steven Grant(Millionaire playboy and had
the means to finance his crusade)
3)...Khonshu, or Moon Knight's fighting spirit inside.
Let's call this his higher calling and motivation that
allowed him to see past the lies.
4)...Forgot his original name? But anyways, his
blood thirsty soldier-for-hire days. This is his
outward past that still haunts him.
The stories were eerie, and weird, but once Marvel
turned him into a Scizzo I never bought a Marvel
again(that is why I say #1-32).
And my all-time favorite DC Goldenage character,
Green Latern(mystical and cool!). I loved that outfit
he wore too.
#28 All-American has been in my collection twice.
once as a dealer, and once as a collector.
#49-57 All-Star's were in my possession once,
and the all-time favorite cover was #55 Sci-Fi
cover. I paid $200 for it, though it was worth $100.
