I recently graduated from university with a BA in Literature and Sociology. I feel getting an Arts degree would likely be rare in this community; I suspect BSc majors would dominate the college graduate aspie population.

Nevertheless, fellow BA graduates, are you around?

Not that rare I think. I first graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, (with both arts and science credits) decades ago. There are members with doctorates too!

I'm glad! I feel I should stand corrected. :P

Congratulations all the same. It's a significant achievement for anyone.

Thanks, man. I'm proud of myself for it. It took a lot of time and much effort. :)

We also have members who teach at universities. I used to be one of them though am retired now. Perhaps you will become one?

I have a BA in Speech Pathology and English. Earned it in 2006, at age 45.

Yep...some of us have doctorates.

There's a thread called "Highly Educated Aspies" within WrongPlanet. I'm barely eligible for it :P

Possibly. It depends on my future plans and whether or not that includes getting a Master's and then a Doctorate.

Right now, I'm just satisfied with taking a well-deserved year off. :)
