We're a humble species on Wrong Planet, like the endangered Vulcan's. I wish there were more of an emphasis on mental health in the black community but a las it takes a backseat as an intrinsic platitude. There's a subtle "bootstrap" mentally that goes without a word, strong/independent men and women can't be "depressed" or have "learning disabilities"...

Stems from perception and poverty as well, doesn't just affect black people but the perception of mental health is much darker among us

Sure there are a lot more here on this site, but present

I wonder if Stephen Wiltshire ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Wiltshire ) is a WrongPlanet.net member. He is black and an amazing artist!

I was about to say, the only black autistic person I know of (not like as a friend) was Stephen Wiltshire.
