Hi all I've been lurking for a while, branching out to people usually takes me ages. Finally wanted to introduce myself and meet new people. My names Ruby, I'm nearly 25 and live in southern Cornwall. Diagnosed with aspergers and other things(just read my profile :)
I would love to spark up friendships with fellow aspies. I dont have many friends the few I have are amazing but neurotypical so theres a lot of communication issues and they are not always understanding of my sensory overloads.I dont like clubbing, fashion and sex doesn't interest me.unfortunately that seems to be this eras topics of interest.I'm asexual (no sexual attraction or urges towards anyone)
If theres any adults (18+) out there that want to chat and maybe meet up in the future, please feel free to message me.im not a serial killer haha. I specify adults because as an adult I find it weird to talk to young people and would never meet up with someone younger than 18. Take care and peace out everyone :)

Hi!

My family are from Pendeen though I am based in Berkshire so I am limited to only holidays down that way. Love going down the mine (I have a relative who died in the mining disaster) and just walking the cliff tops and beaches. Also enjoy holidaying on the lizard and trips over to St Michael's Mount.

Welcome to WP!

Thanks for the responses. Aspieutah I'm glad you resisted the urge to sing, musicals horrify me, anything with audience participation haha.usually the first thing people want to sing is "ruby, ruby, ruby" 8O
Biscuitman, funny you should mention mining,my great nans job was to go down the mines during accidents and ease the men into death. That sounds so bad! The cliffs and beaches are amazing.im in Hayle so literally live on the beach.

Just as well, legend tells they actually pirated their false loot there, left a stash in Redruth and ate kippers at Mousehole.

If the treasure was left in redruth it was stolen within minutes and sold for drugs.

Empathy, why do you have the picture of the queen as a profile picture?

I've just spent a week in Cornwall, apologies, I'm used to Aspie Utah's humour if some witty injunction permits it, I went to St Ives on Thursday, was baking hot.. saw a lot of little villages with their Lib Dem posters up, banners for Torries in others, a couple of Labour on the borders between Devonshire and Cornwall.
The southern side would be more Truro woudn't it? Don't worry, I'm not trying to scare you off the campaign trail or anything like that! Theres always at least one queen for every border though, right?

Sadly people in cornwall think voting actually matters. We are damned if we do and damned if we dont,so to speak. Not trying to spark a political debate though. Yeah southern side is from Truro to lands end. Im about ten minutes from st ives. Too many people for me in the summer down here. I hide out in the woods :)

Hey;)i hopethe woods were worth it,keepimg you cool down in St Ives, or wait, shouldn't that be Carbis Bay? I know it attracts a fair breeze there! Lands End is a long way down, very wild ocean too.
I thought politics was over for the short duration anyway. :)
