Welcome to Wrong Planet. There are aspies here who worked in medicine in the past. I don't know about present.

I spent about half my life working in some kinda hospital. at least during my working years. 22 years of it. high stress. it prematurely aged me and gave me adrenal exhaustion [among other things].
