:D Hi all,

I am new here too. So introduce myself. I'm a 44 yo female aspie - diagnosed about 10 years ago.

I'm lucky and smart enough to be an R&D geek / techo pet - meaning that my employers tolerate my excentricities and work with me on career stuff because I make breakthroughs which is the crux of my company's business plans. I've been to Dale Carnigee twice, dance therapy, martial arts classes and gymnastics. My bosses are big believers in patterning behavior. Like every week or so I'll get e-mail examples of what i did right and what I could do better and often before big meetings or customer events someone walks me through what's expected. Normally my brother picks out clotes so I usually pass pretty well.

Personally I'm married with two dogs (fur babies are so much better than people). I enjoy downhill sking and sailboat racinga and also do kick boxing and Kali (stick and knife sparing) to improve coordination.

Overall life is pretty good but I wonder how others cope and more importantly what do you each think of as fun.... I've been trying to define it lately with little luck. Just that it is stimulating and not painful and not boring.

My boat and picture are on my hubbies web page www.windwardmarkarts.com

Hope to get to know you all better
Julie
