I don't really know how to start I suppose, so I will do an intro of sorts...

I mainly joined this place because I have a few questions about autism and I don't know the best answer to them...
I also have been told recently that I have autism? by the doctor/psychiatrist I see, so I don't know how best to take it. They told me that they thought that they already told me about what was wrong, but I didn't know and I'm still not 100% sure that is the case, because before I was diagnosed with a psychotic disorder or something.
I have always known something is terribly wrong with me but I don't know if that is also the right answer. I guess I still don't honestly know if it is true or not.

I guess that's enough for now.

I have trouble posting sometimes because sometimes I am afraid. But I'm not sure.

Welcome to Wrong Planet!
I hope that you can find answers and stories that you can relate to here. Of course, keep in mind that isn't the same as getting a proper diagnosis (you should get second opinions if you have doubts). I would say that autism by itself is unlikely to be "what is terribly wrong with you", more often than not it's the depression and anxiety disorders (or other co-morbids) that often come in combination with the autism that are the cause (you seem to self-describe yourself as having a lot of anxiety). Sorry to hear that you are having so much trouble understanding yourself and your problems, that can be one of the most painful things, as many other members here, it took me a very long time to receive my diagnosis. I wish you the best of luck!

Welcome minus_zero!

Please don't be afraid, nothing to be scared of here. If you feel uncomfortable, you can always ask a mod for assistance or help.

Hope you will find recognition here and the answers you are looking for. Seems you are in a bit of an identity crisis and can understand that is quite tough.

Wish you good luck and strength in dealing with this.
