Hello! I'm new here. I decided to come to wrong planet as I'm having a lot of issues regarding my ASD. I was diagnosed in my early teens and because of my other conditions I was unable to finish school and was home taught, which has made working and jobs very difficult. I struggle with social situations and as a result have no friends. I also have a few diseases and conditions which tie in my ASD, nothing to serious so it's not all bad. I have a one year old daughter who is my world, some days I struggle with parenting but she is helping me to keep going. It's nice to have something to live for. I'm here to get to know others and find more out about ASD as try as they might, my family don't really get it. Which is understandable; ASD is so complex.

Welcome RebeccaShort!

I am sorry to hear that you have no friends and that your family doesn't understand ASD.

Hope you will enjoy the forum, find the information you are looking for, find recognition and maybe even make some friends. Good luck!
