Howdy guys. I am new to join today. I have been using the site on and off over the years.

But never felt comfortable joining in on the forums. Until now. After having a string of meltdowns. Relating to a personal new friendship issue. I. Am not the best at expressing how I feel. As I am never sure how to.

I have been a lone wolf for a while now and really wish to change that.

An upheavel last few years has caused me to get thrown off track.

I thought perhaps signing up here and comming to terms with my aspie self that I had ignored for years trying to conform to NT ways has had its toll. I can no longer manage doing it.

Looking forward to getting to know some of you better and the works.

Yeah, lots of lone wolves around here. But, if you read enough posts you can get an idea which of your issues is related to autism and which aren't. Which is very useful if want to do something about your issues.

Thanks. Over the last year since May. I have determined that I have a lot of sensory problems. Noise especially. I am actually very high up. Compared with other aspies I have met. When I am not wearing my NT mask. (Although I can only wear that for so long then I drain) When tired or ill. It really shows. I notice people chuckling. When interacting.

I also forget to say please and thank you and never know which greeting to use be it good morning or good afternoon. So I just tend todo the trumen show approach because its easier lol

Lots of people close ( family) do worry about me excessively. It can get a bit annoying. But I guess it's because they care.

My meltdowns over the last few years have caused a lot of hurt and damaged friendships.

Regrets over those...

I guess I have not been coping that well. For a few years now. A lot of years.

I will be sure to have a wander around. I am so ill with a cold chest thing. I can't sleep and are soo tired.

Hopefully can get some rest and be a bit chipper in the morrow hehe

Thanks you. It doesn't seem to show. But I'm 34 yrs old. Not that it generally matters. I just see a few have their age in.

As Xmas is hitting. Its been a bit stressful. However it's the nature of thingsm the more I learn and where to push my self and where the need to pull back is everything.

Also came to the realisation drinking alcohol is perhaps not the best idea in the world. Seems to cause more faux pas and upset unintentionally. And when with other drinking types they can take offence.

Also I cant seem to know when to stop drinking because I am liking it a bit too much

So decided now. Its best to jack it in. Maybe not a big loss. But will stop a lot of problems I think

I also seem to have developed an empath thing. So I can notice and feel upset people and want to help. Get frustrated when I can't and hound them.

However recently I have discovered this is not a good thing either todo. Can't help everyone!
