I've suspected for about a month now that I have autism and am undergoing a professional diagnostic process. I am high-functioning and have many of the autistic traits. Scored a 39 on the AQ, and a 128 on the aspie quiz. In my extensive research I came across this forum, and after reading through a few posts could not resist interacting with all of you.
My username is taken from the name of the supercomputer in the second book Terry Brooks' Voyage of the Jerle Shannara Trilogy. It's a character I always find interesting because it was a supercomputer operating in a world of magic that it couldn't understand and that couldn't understand it. Technically a villain but really just faithfully executing the task it was given. I'm a fan of a great many science fiction and fantasy series, and found this blend of the two particularly interesting.
