Hey everyone, new here, and I'm in the process of questioning everything I thought I knew about myself! I have been diagnosed ADHD but I am about to get an assessment for autism (Asperger's) as well. I found out, as most people I think these days, through the online world of videos/quizzes/articles. I have, unfortunately, had poor experiences with psychologists so far and I am seeing a psychiatrist but I don't really trust him enough to share my feelings about this. He is treating me for ADHD and depression right now, but I'm going to see a new psychologist about possible autism. I'm hoping the one I picked will be able to understand the unique presentation of female autism, as I have read a lot about how the standard tests etc. do not generally help if you're female.

Thanks all for reading this. Looking forward to being a part of this community and reading lots of great info on here. Cheers!
