Returning After a Long Absence

Hello Again WP!

I have decided to rejoin the forum for a while. The main reason for this is that I finally have a firm date to get a formal diagnosis done: it is monstrously expensive so I have to wait until the winter to get partial insurance coverage to defray the cost.

One of the prime motivation to finally get that diagnosis (aside from the Mrs. telling me I should) is that I believe I recently lost out on a very lucrative job I was clearly the top candidate for and I can only conclude it was because of my inability to read cues and make up stories on the fly during the "behavioral" interview as I aced the other tests and have a rock solid history in the field. As well, being a father now I would love to learn more so if my son is on the spectrum I won't have him suffer the way I did growing up.

There is plenty more to share but the bottom line is it is good to be back.
