Hi!

I'm James, I'm 30 and I live in London in the UK, and I was diagnosed with Aspergers nearly two years ago now.

I've been thinking about joining and posting for a long time, and shyness and nervousness held me back a bit.

I've had almost no experience of talking to other people on the autism spectrum (if that's the correct term!) about it, and I feel I have so many questions saved up I've wanted to ask about how other people experience life, and what other people find helpful with the trickier bits, and my own thoughts and experiences I'd like to share.

But, now I'm here, I need to have a think about how to actually put some of it coherently into sentences!

Anyway - hi!

Hello. Don't be anxious. This is easy once you are used to it, and the really good thing about online is that no one knows who you are so you can post without being nurvous. I find that the internet works like a mask where I only unmask my identity if I want to.

Good morning! :D

Welcome to WP! :D

Hope you enjoy chatting with us all, and find answers to at least a satisfactory number of your questions. :D

word to the wise: the PPR forum can get a bit boisterous and argumentative, has fewer rules of discourse in deference to the nature of the discussions therein.
