Hello! I've known of this forum for some time but was never in the right mindset to effectively try it out. I struggle with depression and social anxiety. Introductions are tricky...
About me: I was diagnosed in adulthood, about four years ago. I'm in my twenties. I don't work, but I enjoy volunteering at the library. I actually just went today I am a writer, though I struggle to finish my work. I enjoy reading both fiction and nonfiction. When I have the brainpower, I study outdated textbooks on Microbiology.
If you want to reach out to me, feel free to tell me about a weird dream you've had lately. Mine are quite bizarre at times and I like to record them. I love hearing about others' too.
Or just something that you want to share I will try to reach out too

I did the same thing where I put off joining WP for awhile, but I think joining was a good choice for me. I learned a lot about my autism and met a lot of cool people here.

What genre of fiction do you like reading the most?

Good to know! I'm glad it's been a positive experience for you. I am currently reading horror. I haven't explored many genres, but I seem to be enjoying this one for now. I highly recommend The Southern Reach trilogy. It's more of a sci-fi thriller, and it does slow down after the first book. But it gives you much to think about.

Thank you, and sure! The books I currently have are about 13 years old because they're cheaper that way. I know so little about it that doesn't make much difference for me Do you like mycology?

What‘s mycology? I get it confused with malacology (the study of mollusks).

Mycology is study of fungi! Mollusks are cool too.

My Aspie sister was into Dreams Interpretation. My dreams drive me nuts . They are always about the same two things. Only occasionally do they ever stray from that! The only good thing about that, is that I am a lucid dreamer. Nice to have you with us.
