Receiving a diagnosis in early 2015, at the age of 28, I've visited this site on and off semi-regularly but decided to join now that the U.S. has mostly returned to old norms, getting introductions out of the way. I had meant to do all of this in one post elsewhere, in the picture thread, but a recurring error (shown as text-only upon clicking reply/submit) is preventing every attempt. If anyone knows of a fix, please PM or reply below. Defying the stereotype, I am by no means a computer wiz and only halfway manage numbers with napkin math, preferring words almost exclusively, the study of which could be described as a special interest.

As for the diagnosis, it was specifically Asperger's and not HFA since the location in New York hadn't yet switched over to the DSM-V.

That's about all that comes to mind right now. More personal details later, if any relate to the ongoing discussions.
