Hi everybody, I'm new here. Apparently I've had this account for awhile now and just forgot about it, haha. I wasn't diagnosed until adulthood, although a specialist suggested it around eighth grade and my family didn't react well. Learning I was autistic was - kind of a transformative experience, in terms of how I was able to understand the things I'd struggled with my whole life.
I like reading medical journals and doing chess puzzles in my spare time. I'm also interested in writing, and recently finished the draft of a modern fantasy novel about two autistic kids. I've been on a couple of autism Discord servers, so it'll be interesting to be here where I'm not automatically one of the three or four oldest people, ha. Anyway, nice to meet you all.

Curious about almost everything. I'm especially interested in chess puzzles (warning: I'm not good at them), writing fiction, and reading scientific journals, particularly articles that I can use to improve myself or my life somehow. PMs welcome.
