Hello all,

I'm am a 30-something female living in Texas. I have not been diagnosed, though after research and just looking back on my life, I suspect being on the spectrum.

I have always kind of felt like an outsider, and have always had difficulty initiating friendships and/or making them stick. More than 20 years ago now, I had a pretty bad experience with a group of "friends." That instance still sticks with me to this day. I was the "weird kid" for some reason, and people just didn't want to be around me.

Anyways, there is certainly more to my story, but I'm not very good at introductions. Feel free to ask me questions if you would like. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to getting to know others here and learn more!

I once had a whole class pick on me. All except one person in the class. I nearly jumped through a window which was around three storeys high to get away, but the lecturer came in just in time and told me off for standing on the desk.

For years later I did all I could to avoid crowds and was on high alert incase they suddenly decided to turn on me like they did during my time in collage.

I'm really sorry to hear about your experience. It's a shame that people get a thrill out of acting that way and hurting other people; even more so that some never grow out of it. They move into adulthood acting that way, showing their kids to act the same. I'm glad you didn't jump.
