I'm Cait. I'm 20 years old, female, diagnosed with Asperger's a year and a half ago. I live in Portland, and I'm a student at Portland State University. Right now I'm studying Political Science (major) and Spanish (minor). I suppose it's a typical major for anyone planning to go to law school, but even if I weren't planning on being an attorney I'd still major in it because I find it interesting. I sometimes wish I'd stuck with Art as a major, though.

I tend to be kind of quiet, but I'm actually pretty nice.

Sooo... Hi!

Hi Cait, I'm Keith. Business major at the U of FL.

Is your name short for Caitlyn?

Cait,

Drat! Better luck to me next time! I only guessed because I have a friend named Caitlyn. Your spelling is the more usual one, i believe.

Enjoy your time here at WP. See you in the forums! :D

I've seen at least five different spellings for my name.

And thanks :)

Does being quiet usually preclude someone from being nice? ;)

Not the last time I checked, Sanity. :P

Welcome to the forums, Cait. :) I hope you enjoy it here and there's lots of nice people, as well as many random discussions in various areas of the site, if you haven't figured that out yet. ;)

Welcome Cait!

Do you have an idea of what type of law you would like to study? I'd really like to go back to school to study educational law but I don't see it happening.

Hello

Welcome! You are correct. Political science is a good choice of a major for someone who want to go to law school. I appreciate the fact that some people want to make a social effort, and you are no exception. We are a very smart group of people, and several, if not many of us, are online throughout the day.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! I like this place.

Beebee, I also want to study educational law. I foresee doing a lot of child advocacy/mental health advocacy as well. I've still got two more years of undergrad to go, but I'm excited.

*edited because I'm nitpicky about spelling

Well, that would make another proofreader here. *high fives Cait*
