I'm more used to AutismForms, but everything is confusingly organized there at times. Thought I'd give this place a shot, while avoiding some of the more... controversial areas to optimize my experience here.

All of that side, hi, everyone! I'm just gonna copy and paste my old introduction from that website, with some slight changes.

Hi! I am VintageKitty, but you can just call me Kitty as a moniker. I know my username is technically FantaOpossum on here, but I can't change it, so I just gotta roll with it.

I enjoy a variety of things, such as:

- Writing - mainly historical fiction. (This is my primary special interest.)
- Early to mid 20th century history, especially the 1950s (This is my secondary special interest.)
- Media Analysis
- Animals (This is my tertiary special interest.)

I was diagnosed at a young age - I think when I was three - and have been living with my Asperger's Syndrome ever since, or low support ASD for the more politically correct. I also have ADHD and depression, and those two conditions been more of a challenge to live with than my autism, at least when all of this is combined with me going to college soon and trying to start my career as a self-published writer.

Oh my god, another person who shares a Special Interest with me! I love the 20th Century too, but my scope is more around the 1930s-early 1960s. I do collect vintage stuff, so I have some LIFE magazines, WWII Surplus, a Columbia Disc Graphophone from 1905 or 1908, and my grandpa gave me some Western Avionics magazines dating back to 1924 and stuff.
