I am not diagnosed, however, so much here rings true for me, and that is such a treat to find after 50 some years of life.
I would be most interested in connecting with other older aspies who have somehow navigated through the NT territory and come through it alive and wise. I also would love to find some aspies of any age who are in my vicinity, Vancouver Island.
New at all this forum and blog communication, so hope to figure all that out too.

Hi Colibri! I'm from Toronto but have been to Victoria a couple of times and loved it. My friend was living out there while going to UVic and I spent some time there, Tofino and Whistler. Is Swan's still there?

Welcome, Colibri!

Not to insult your inteligence or anything, but have you looked at the discussion page? There's a section called in depth adult life discussion which is for older aspies (they call themselves dinos  )

By the way, I'll be 46 this month.

I've been wandering around the threads of so many discussions and feel as if there is a whole world of real people at last!

Off to work now for a few days but will be looking forward to my return.

Hello...welcome to WP :D

It's good you find this place "like home".
To me, it is my home, and where I live is just my house.

I hope you enjoy posting here :)

Welcome. I'm from the SF Bay Area, and am 52 years of age. I figured it out about a year ago...
