Or at least that's what my pet cockatiel calls me. Like the group, but I was wondering. AS isn't really a mental PROBLEM, we're smarter than most people. Isn't AS better classified as a social disorder, like an overdose of neuroticism? Is my obsession with birds a real problem or just annoying? Do you think it annoys coworkers if I verbally compare them to birds?

No, actually I live in Jordan Minnesota, 4000 people. 95west/45north is approximate actually closer to 93west and 44north. I'm from Texas originally.

Iamnotaparakeet, it's called social anxiety and is actually an official mental disorder; people get diagnosed with it. Ask about it. :)

I'm pretty sure I read someone's post on this site that they have social anxiety. I don't know if they're diagnosed, but it should get the proper attention it deserves. :)
