What's up with these labels under our names with weird discriptions of how much we posted like "tufted titmouse"

Those are ranks based on the number of posts. When you reach 1,000 posts, you can create a rank of your own.

I have no idea. It just makes me giggly because it contains the word "tit".

Most of the terms seem to be birds... except mine, Deinonychus. Unless you count dinosaurs as flightless birds, of course...

There's deinonychus and velociraptor as well. I can't wait to be one of those. I'd be really sad when I "outgrew" it though.

I was REALLY disappointed when I was no longer Emu Egg. I loved that. I was confused by it at first, and then it grew on me. I was really sad for three days because it changed....I became butterfly...which I have never felt like, and didn't seem like me at all...and I was resentful, because I liked Emu Egg.

Hunh.

I have never liked labels...

Basically, any flying creature.

The logic is all wrong. I started as an Emu Egg but hatched out into a butterfly. Surely if I'm a butterfly now then I should have been a caterpillar before? :(

I guess Alex just wanted something unique with the post ranks.

Tufted Titmouse is a small bird. Alex posted a picture on another thread.

I like the post rank system. It encourages learning. Everytime I hit a new rank, I search information about the bird in question. I didn't knew what a tufted titmouse was a week ago, but I do now.
