new here!! ! i have autism and adhd and ive always found communicating with other neurodivergent people is a lot easier, so this seemed like a no brainer.
i listen to music a lot and love to listen to other peoples' favorite songs. i like musicals, biology, researching, insects, and marine animals. (lemonlyshark ---> lemon sharks, i love them). i want to get more into pop culture because i feel as though i never know what people are talking about, especially when it comes to movies/shows, so if you like that stuff, give me some recs!! :cat:

Welcome to WP! I hope you like it here.

Personal opinion: "Popular" culture is over-rated. It is often said that us Auties are a bit odd because we have "special" interests. But, I'll assert that NTs have "special" interests, too, but...because they are herd animals...they have to choose an interest that is popular with others in the herd. Examples: sports, celebrities...and popular culture. Our "flaw" is that we are interested in things not on the herd-approved list.

Welcome! I am a turtle fancier myself, my very favorite animals...though I love them all.
we are a group with incredibly diverse interests and experience and insights: explore, ask questions, meet others... all good!
glad you are with us!
