HI! My name is Natalie, I am self diagnosed Autistic and ADHD, also have cPTSD and OCD. Not seeking clinical diagnosis at this time, just knowing is enough for me.

I fully acknowledged my Autism about 3 yrs ago. I have wondered about whether I might be since I was in my teens-20's but the resources just weren't there to confirm it for me at the time. Now there is absolutely no question about it. I believe one or both of my parents are/were ADHD and/or Autistic. I joined this group a while ago and then lost the log in information so never introduced myself properly. Whoops. Here I am now anyway.

I am in need of social connection, support, and sense of community. The last several years have been incredibly lonely. The last few months have been really hard. My husband lost his job, we had a falling out with close friends over something stupid, and a death of a family member just within the last 4 weeks. So I'm reaching out here to try to meet new people to get my social needs met because my world just feels too small.

Hi. Difficult times can feel isolating. Is odd because when we share some of the things that have happened to us, there can be a dissbelief... The other day I met someone I di not realize that I knew from the past, so I was chatting about what had happened since and even I could hardly believe it. It was strange!

Sorry. Am going off on a tangent and not exactly helping which does not exactly help.

Welcome to Wrong Planet.

Hello Natalie.

I'm sorry to hear that so many bad things have happened to you recently.
My mom says bad things happen in threes. I don't know if that's true but it can be very overwhelming for sure. Especially having to work through grief also.

I can relate with that aspect. My aunt died last year and everything in my life just kind of collapsed. With the all that's happening in the world it can be really hard to hold on to hope.

I hope you are able.to find the support and community you need.
