An "old" newbie

Hi folks! I used to hang out a bit on Wrong Planet way back in the mid-2000s. It's been so long that I can't even remember my old username. Diagnosed with Aspergers' in my teens, but I was highly ambivalent about my diagnosis and had huge "imposter syndrome" because I thought I might've done some things on a subconscious level to skew the results. At some points over the years, I pushed away the diagnosis and convinced myself I didn't have it. Last year, I fell down the rabbit hole of reading all about autism online, and it quickly became a special interest. Learned a lot about autism and about myself during that time, and eventually I decided to get a second assessment, and my assessor diagnosed me with autism. Looking forward to continue my special interest in autism here!
