I suppose I am mildly Aspie but having found out about it within the last 30 days it explains a lot of my life's trajectory. I am now 63. I see GreatBallsOfFire is a nickname here. I am proud to say the first LP I bought was 'Here's Little Richard' & I suppose Eisenhower was in charge in the US then (who came before?).
Welcome, toktokkie!
My first 45 rpm record was "Chantilly Lace" by the Big Bopper! and when I was born Truman was presiding! I, too thought I could only be mildly Aspie, because I 'passed' for a little while where ever I was, however I had to move every 8 months on average to 3 years (at max) because mysteriously I found I just didn't "fit in"with those people in that geographical location. Now I know (at 57) that I am a classic Aspie with just a lot of coping skills in the NT world!
I found out about it last October. This site has been a godsend and a inspiration! Try strolling over to the 'Getting to know you" section to the Ex Dino Aspie Cafe. . .lots of us dinosaurs that found out later in life all trying to sort it out.
