"Hi! I'm new"

Hullo, everyone!

I'm just a regular 16 year old kid who li-- wait... no, I'm not a regular kid, I have AS. Right. ;D
Anyway, I've just recently discovered AS and done some reading on it. It's just like reading my life off the internet.
It's nice to finally understand why I'm the way I am. My narrow interests include learning foreign languages (specifically Japanese and maybe German) as my AS allows me to do so much easier than most, playing arrow smasher games (In the Groove, Dance Dance Revolution), watching anime, and watching J-dorama.

For now I am unsure of my approach towards what to do with my AS. Get it diagnosed? Who to tell?
So far I've only told one person, my mom, who now uses it as a reason to justify her decisions and opinions as an absolute better than mine because I "don't understand anything" because of the AS. Yay.
I hope not everyone reacts the same way.

I'm tired of feeling like I was born on the wrong planet and look forward to meeting many of you!
