Hello! I'm new to Wrong Planet. I'm delighted to have found this website—I didn't know anyone used forums anymore! I'd kind of assumed they'd all been abandoned for Reddit.

I struggled through life until I was diagnosed with autism and ADHD as an adult, which makes a lot of sense in hindsight. I am currently in graduate school and pursuing a PhD in English literature. I don't know anyone else in real life like me and I'm hoping to find some community here and maybe some help navigating life.

You indicated that you have Asperger's Syndrome or Aspie for short. So do I.

There are quite a few people with this condition on this site.

Your interests are: Medieval literature, reenactment, and arts and crafts. Science fiction. Tea.

You are working for a PhD in English Literature. I wonder what type of reenactments caught your interest. Many years ago, I use to go to Renaissance Fairs in California where hundreds of thousands of people would attend.

Welcome. It is indeed nice to have a forum to interact with others. Most have been slowly been dissolved into nonexistence. It seems that global leaders are trying to stifle any free speech and social interaction that they don't accept or want to allow; anything that might threaten their power and goals.
