Greetings!
After being registered here for awhile now, I thought I'd say Hi. I'm 23 and was diagnosed with AS two years ago. It was a relief, but I'm glad I didn't know it sooner, for I wouldn't have had the incentive to better myself.
As for who I am, I am first and foremost a sinner, saved by God's grace alone. He has set me free from the shackles of organized religion and led me into a personal relationship with him. Even though I find a thousand ways to mess up things, he still loves me. Having AS is so much more bearable because he is with me, and I know he has a reason for the things I'm going through.
So, nice to me you all!
SusyQ

I am ex-muslim and I have HFA by the way...so why I am just wondering about what you mean a "relationship with God" , do you mean christianity?

Greetings, SusyQ. Welcome. I hope you enjoy your stay here. There are many members who are religious (for the lack of something better to call it).

I hope you like posting here, and don't forget to join the Church of Garlic. If you want the pain to go away, and to be a part of something greater than yourself, bite into a raw clove of Garlic tonight. And for a donation of just $19.95, we'll send you a leather bound copy of the Holy Book of Garlic.

Please make checks payable to "TheMachine1 and One-Winged-Angel Defense Funds". These funds will greatly help with the fake charity charges the Church of Garlic now faces. Thanks for the support.

The Church of Garlic is also a sanctuary for 1337 speakers.

If you would like to join the sect of Rubber Ducks, Pie, Vegetarianism, or Chocolate, tell me that you wish to join a sect.

Garlic Bless America

Never mind the garlic stuff, SusyQ, he's a simulation that auto-answers every new poster. It's sort of an inside joke that there really is no "One-Winged-Angel." Bit of a prank, that.

I'm real. The newest member of the Church of Garlic is my dog. Actually I'm not real. We're all figments of werbert's imagination. Give him your money.

Hi SusyQ

I'm a sinner too, but God finds my company too annoying to want a personal relationship with me and Satan recognizes that I'll never influence anybody, so he isn't interested either.

Getting serious for a moment, your belief system is every bit as good as mine, and if it's making your life better, keep doing it.

Welcome to wrong planet. I hope you find things of value and contribute things of value.

Thanks for the welcomes, everyone!!
LePetitPrince-I am a Christian, but in studying my Bible have come to the conclusion that much of what is considered Christianity today is excess baggage and the "doctrines of men" which the Bible preaches against. That is what he has set me free from.
CanyonWind, the God I love and serve does not find anyone too annoying to have a relationship with. Check out the Bible to verify that statement-God praised the Bereans for checking out the things that other Christians taught.
I hope you all don't think I'm intolerant to your different beliefs. I am not. God has loved me my imperfect state, and so I love others even though they believe differently than I.

Welcome to WrongPlanet. With such an accepting attitude you should do well!

Discussions in philosophy and religion here can grow warm , even heated, but on the whole they are more civilised than in many other places I have visited.

Hi SuzyQ and welcome. I'm a big fan.

So you don't go down to Devil Gate Drive anymore?

Do you still wear leather?

When they reach their teens, that's when they all get mean
Down in Devil Gate Drive
When I was sweet sisteen I was the jukebox queen
Down in Devil Gate Drive
I lead the angel pack on the road to sin
Knock down the gates!
Let me in. Let me in
Don't mess me 'round, cause you know where I've been
To 'The Dive' down in Devil Gate Drive

Sorry, this isn't about the subject on this part of the forum, but thanks for the message you sent me on my blog (mightyzebra's blog). Satsumas are a kind of small orange and they're really nice. What were the kinds of weed you ate? Speaking of plants, I have eaten white clover (it tastes all right, but I prefer haribo sweets myself).

Regards, mightyzebra
