Hello, I am new here. I found out I had autism last year. I am looking to find female friends. I am married that is why I am only looking for female friends. I am 34 and I live in the south of the United states.
I am in school for electronics and computer engineering and coding. I also want to go for my bachelors in psychology next year when I graduate for engineering. I love collecting things, especially retro toys and watching 80s and 90s cartoons, sitcoms and movies. I love anything joyful and positive. I like drawing, coloring, diamond painting, a lot really haha

I would like to make two points:

- You can't know definitively if a poster here is male or female (or other);
- This is a virtual forum, so why would it matter?

It would help to know what you mean by wanting to find female friends. Do you want to discuss specific issues that affect female more than male autists? Are you hoping to find another autistic woman living near enough to you that you could meet to do things in person? Knowing what you're hoping to get out of this forum would help us respond to you better.

I think what she is saying is that she is trying to be true to her husband and is not trying to create another relationship but rather just a friendship.
