Hey everyone, i am a new member to this forum!

I'm very interested in all things autism, first and foremost, and this is why i have joined this forum. I would also really love to contribute to the discussions, and also get some advice myself.

Other than that, i'm interested in video games, books and history and tanks as well. I love to indulge in my interests, including about autism.

This makes sense seeing that I am diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and a Learning Disability in Mathematics and Writing, and so it would make sense that i really wanted to explore what it meant when i have these diagnoses.

I'm very interested in this forum for a while, and so this is also a good alternative to using Reddit. This community also seems very tight knit and that the discussion here is good, very in depth and helpful, and this is why i have joined this forum.

You wrote that you have a problem with Math and Writing. This goes by the name of Dyslexia.

The human brain is much more complex then most people understand. This is because we have multiple brains. Some exist on the left side of our skull and others on the right side. I suffered a massive stroke about 4 years ago. As a result I lost my knowledge of words and part of my vision. Numbers were always my strong quality. But now when I pay a bill by writing a check, I have to be extremely careful. Because I will write a check for $13.14 and when I look at it later I had actually written $14.14. I had also lost my ability to write. It would take me forever to write or read after my stroke. I read like a snail. But I can sit at my keyboard and write at normal speeds. Why is this? Many years ago before my stroke, I purchased a unique keyboard. It clicks each time I enter a letter. That way I know that the computer accepted my entry. It gives me a click. So using a computer, I can write almost as fast as I can think. Although I have lost many of my words, computers also provide a fix to that problem. They always tell me when I have made a possible mistake.
